The SCADA solution for the King Abdulaziz International Airport Station for the Saudi Railway Company is a reliable and efficient railway tunnel control system. It was implemented as a comprehensive system for the railway tunnel leading to the King Abdulaziz International Airport Station in Jeddah. This project contributed to enhancing safety and efficiency by:

  • Real-time monitoring and control: PLC based SCADA system to manage ventilation, pumping, lighting and load shedding.
  • Sensor integration: Enhanced proactive maintenance (Access Point Sensor, Schneider PM5320, WAGO IE switches, MRMU ION6200).
  • High system reliability: Backup servers and workstations for continuous operation.
  • User-friendly interface: Seamless monitoring and control via intuitive GUI.
  • Main results: Improve safety, enhance efficiency, reduce operating costs, and data-driven maintenance.
